Description:
This box contains 16 of the 25 shot cups, plus top wads and cork wads. These shot cups were used to extend the range of a shotgun by tightening the shot pattern. The paper shot clips have brass bases and several are marked on interior showing how much to fill them. Box shows shelf wear with some edge loss and scuffing on label. This is an interesting attempt to improve shotshell patterns, engineers and ballisticians are still working on this concept over 100 years later.
