Description:
This box contains 45 rounds with no headstamp, two groove bullets and copper cases. Top label shows a water stain, two creases, several scuffs, and edge wear. Top has been repaired with glue showing on inside. This company was the last evolution of the original Smith & Wesson (1857-63) , Smith Hall & Farmer (1863-1866), Smith Hall & Buckland (1866-1869), and Hall & Hubbard (1869-1873) succession of companies. The label shows a cartridge cut with S.H. & B inside, but does not have the "Successors to Smith, Hall & Buckland" line at bottom as most H&H boxes show. A rare box for the collector.
