This .54 caliber Transition rifle has a browned swamped 1" to 13/16" to 15/16" x 43" Getz barrel with 1:66 twist and fitted with fixed sights. Inscribed on the top flat is D Mulford 1985. Stamped on the lower flat is D Getz Beavertown PA and on the underside of the tang #290. The P++++ grade maple stock is mounted with very tastefully engraved brass furniture, including a wooden sliding patch box. The stock is embellished with very nice carving around the wrist, tang, entry pipe, behind the cheek piece, and around the patch box. A highly polished RE Davis Early Germanic flint lock is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Very good wood to metal fit - made by D Mulford - Utah. Condition: Very fine.
