The Chapuis Model Brousse (same as African PHII) in 470 Nitro Express with 23 5/8" Ejector Barrels with Quarter rib 1 standing & 3 folding sights, Double triggers, Bolstered frame, Bushed strikers, Scalloped action back, Beavertail forend, Open pistol grip stock, Cheekpiece, Steel engraved grip cap, Rolled trigger guard edge with the strap to the grip cap plus 3 tiedown screws in the guard strap, precision quick detachable scope mounts, Swarovski Z6i 1-6 X 24 EE scope ($2500 scope!). This gun is in 99% condition and has made 2 trips to Africa with 4 Water Buffalo dead on the ground accredited to this rifle. Gorgeous highly figured wood laid out to perfection to take the heavy recoil from the .470 Nitro Express. There are a few light handling marks in the wood, but no dings or cracks. Bores are perfect, mechanics perfect. This gun is accurate with 1" groups shot offhand at 50 yards. There is a box plus a few extra rounds of Federal Cape Shock 500 grain Trophy Bonded Sledgehammer ammo that goes with the rifle. The scope is like new, with no marks and the locked in QD mounts return to zero every time you remove and re-attach the scope. This is a great African dangerous game rifle that has been proven under fire at least 4 times in the last 2 years. This outfit purchase new would exceed $17,500 in cost.
