Description:
This is a pre-64 Winchester Model 70 rifle in .300 H&H Magnum. The serial number dates to 1960. The action is in Very Good to Excellent condition with a few minor handking marks on the left side and very little wear on the bolt knob. Two piece Warne style scope mount bases have been installed. The bottom metal is Good to Very Good with a few handling marks. Condition of the 26 inch barrel is Very Good with a shiny bore. The folding rear sight and the hooded front bead on a ramp are still present. The checkered walnut stock has had a Decelerator recoil pad installed and appears to have had a coat of varnish applied at one time.
