14-140 Remington New Model Army Percussion Civil War Revolver, 44 cal., 6-shot 8” BBL. Serial 90737. Standard Markings, “Patented Sept 14 1858/E Remington & Sons Ilion New York, USA/New Model” are won off, the bore is good with 40-50 % of rifling and some corrosion; cylinder chambers are a little dirty. Actions works well and locks up tight when cocked, metal has light patches of corrosion. Walnut grips have a few dents, chips on bottom someone has carver initials FYY, have remnants of cartouche on left side. Overall a good original antique Civil War Era Rem. Army suitable for collector/shooter. (14-140) $950.00
