Description:
This is a made in W. Germany Weatherby Mark V rifle in .257 Weatherby Magnum. The serial number dates to 1963. The action shows plum color and is in Good to Very Good condition with some wear on the bolt knob. The bottom metal is Good with some wear on the floor plate and on the edges of the trigger guard. This rifle looks to have been rebarreled with a heavy barrel in .257 Weatherby. The bore is shiny and the blue is Very Good. The stock is the traditional Weatherby walnut with skip-line checkering and contrasting grip and end caps. Condition is Good to Very Good with some handling and finish wear evident. This rifle is equipped with a Bosch & Lomb BALVAR 8A 2.5-8 scope on the Bosch & Lomb adjustable mount that is included in the price of the rifle. The scope and mount will not be removed and the rifle repriced without them.
