This is a Colt SAA in .45 Long Colt. I am not a colt guy so bear with. Received this in a trade and although it is truly a beautiful revolver, I will never shoot it with the blue box and white outer box. Box says Model P-1840, SAA 4.75" barrel, .45 Colt, Blue W/ color case frame Model P. I don't think it has ever been fired. Has the original grips plus a set of Colt wooden grips I was told were from the custom shop. It also has initials on the base of the frame ( See Pics) . They are tastefully done and do not seem to detract. Very nice, very clean revolver.
