Civil War McClellen cavalry saddle complete with stirrups, carbine socket and link strap. This is a very solid and nice condition Civil War McClellen that is complete with original stirrups, all straps, Carbine socket and even the link strap. Like almost all McClellens this one has a couple of splits in the raw hide seat covering, but not bad ones. The stitching is pulled tight in a couple of places at the seams, but is not broken. Raw hide shrinks from exposure to moisture and sun. It comes with the original girth, but the girth is in two pieces. It just plain wore out. It has the end billets with ring and buckle on one end and buckle only on the other side. One side has about 40% of the fabric. The other side has very little fabric left. $50 shipping and handling, insurance, etc. (If shipping is less than $50 by more than a buck or two I will refund the excess. Thanks for looking.
