A Colt 10 ga double hammer gun, made in 1881, with 30" damascus barrels , and choked light MOD, and IMP CYL, and lightly pitted bores and a small dent in the left tube about 12" down. Locks up okay not sure how safe a gun this old would be. SN 9865.Both hammers work, and due to age this gun is not sold as a firing gun, not sure the firing pins work, I don't have black powder shells nor safety cap shells either. The American walnut wood has some of the original finish and some flaking with possible finish added.Has a couple knot holes . The for-end has faint worn checkering and the stock has none. The wood pieces fit very well, and look correct. The frame, locks, and hammers are embellished with chisel engraving.Has a steel butt-plate and a LOP of 14", with drops of: 2 5/8" and 4 1/2" Gun is sold as is and not a shooter. Colt built the best American shotguns of the 19th century ,far better than a Parker! We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
