Description:
This Savage lever .30-30 cal rifle has a 20" barrel with very good bore, but lightly frosted grooves. The metal surfaces have bout 70% blue finish with most of the wear on the bottom, and left side of the frame. Comes with front blade sight and rear flip up sight. The top rail has mounted a Redfield blocks with a Weaver K2.5 scope with clear optics. The America plain walnut stocks are good with the Schnabel forend having an old short split repair nor too noticeable , and the stock has minor field dings., with both wood pieces numbered to the gun on this 1923 rifle. Has the cocking indicator, and brass rotary internal mag. An added factory feature is the over sized safety tab over the lever . A vintage lever actiships on .30-30 with much hunting life left.
