Description:
This is the highest grade Westley single shot we have had in the shop. Notice the nicely scalloped action, engraving, Westley top lever, and horn forend tip. Sadly, we received it this way without its butt stock. If this gun was complete we would be offering it between three and four thousand dollars. Presenting it as is for you stock makers, clients of stock makers, or good friends of stock makers, we are offering this gun for almost half price and we are including an appropriate piece of English walnut. We also have to go with the gun its original engraved grip cap with screw.
The barrel of this fine rifle shows a cordite proof for the 300 Express but in recent history the barrel has been re-bored and rifled to 38 special making it extremely easy and economical to get ammunition.
