For sale, a beautiful 8 inch Colt Python with the Colt factory blue finish in nearly new, excellent condition. This Colt Python was manufactured in 1980 and has the less common 8 inch barrel. It has been cocked and therefore has a very faint drag line on the cylinder but otherwise shows no signs of being used. The factory blue finish rates 99% with no visible indications of wear. The front of the cylinder is clean and free from powder burns. There is no wear on the rear grip strap and no signs of holster carry. The screws all appear unturned. The Walnut checkered grips are also in excellent condition. The checkering is still clean and sharp and there are no cracks or repairs present. The grips fit nicely and are tight to the gun. The bore is mint with strong, sharp rifling. Everything works on this Colt 100% like it left the factory yesterday. The actions on these Pythons are a thing of beauty and one of the reasons they are such sought-after collectors items today, and this one is no exception. This is an excellent example of the less common 8-inch barreled Colt Python and would be nearly impossible to upgrade in condition.
