Description:
Bernardelli Gamecock Deluxe 12 Gauge Side-by-Side
99% EJECTORS, GREAT GUN!

General Specs: Bernardelli, Year 1970, 12 Gauge, 7lbs 2oz, SxS
Serial Number: 110416

Vincenzo Bernardelli has been producing fine shotguns in Gardone, Italy for 2 centuries.  This Gamecock Deluxe, sn110416 made in 1970, was made in Gardone and is considered a fine quality game gun.  There is some confusion about the Bernardelli branded guns when the discussion goes to quality.  There were 3 different companies; Pietro Bernardelli, Vincenzo Bernardelli, and Santini Bernardelli.  Pietro Bernardelli guns were cheaply made and problematic.  Vincenzo and Santini built guns were of the quality you would expect from a fine Italian firm.  The Gamecock Deluxe is a real bargain of a gun when you consider the quality of materials and workmanship, and the features embodied in the gun; ejectors, sideplates (the gun is a box lock action made to look like a sidelock action), hand engraved and checkered, case colored receiver, articulated front trigger, sculpted frame, jeweled barrel flats/water table/breech face/forend iron, and beautifully struck barrels.  This gun has seen little use in the 46 years since it was made and is mechanically perfect.  Weighing a svelte 7lbs. 2oz. and balanced nicely between the hands, this is a very affordable, high condition, high quality gun that would be a delight in the field or at the club breaking clays.  A nice looking, functional gun with some bells and whistles at a very affordable price.  Thanks for looking!
