Description:
This is the small frame pocket pistol with 3-1/2" bbl and has the "New Haven Conn 1854" marked on the bbl. This is a very interesting gun in good overall cond. Bbl is a pleasing antique brown patina. Grips are in VG condition but show their age. One light chip out on the left hand grip. Otherwise all wood is present and even has some orig varnish remaining. What really makes this Volcanic interesting is what appears to be remnants of a gold wash that is quite prominent in protected areas. This possibly was a salesman's piece or a gift to someone of prominence.?. Action does work. There is a bit of lever droop. Volcanics are a very important part of Winchester History.
