Description:
1956 vintage Marlin 39A lever action rifle shoots 22 short, long, and LR. 20" barrel. The rifle is in fairly good condition considering it's age. It is no safe queen though, and there is substantial loss of bluing including wear, some light rust, and freckling. The bore is bright and shiny and the action is smooth. The buttstock and fore end show typical type wear that is consistent with field use, transport, and handling. This includes dents, dings, scratches, and stains. There is also an extra hole for a sling swivel in the buttstock. Original Marlin butt plate still in place. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Optic is an early Weaver B4 in a Weaver Tip-off mount. Stock number B-174, please use this number when referencing this item. Willing to ship anywhere in the USA to your FFL holder, buyer pays freight.
