Description:
Excellent condition, H&H Sporting 12 bore with 30" demi-bloc barrels. Matte, raised, vent rib, Anson style pushrod, beautiful color-case hardening, and a quick-detachable single trigger firing group. Gun has been fired, but sparingly at best. Frame features false sideplates, exquisitely engraved with Hollands classic acanthus, which is found on most Royal sidelock models. "Holland & Holland" is inlaid in gold, upon each sideplate. The ejector bolsters are engraved "Holland & Holland, London", and "The Sporting Model" is engraved upon bottom of action. The bottom of the demi-bloc is stamped with 1995 London proofs for 3" barrels. The bottom of the barrels, bear the serial number as well. Beautifully figured European Walnut, features Holland & Holland rifle style checkering on pistol grip. The forend is adorned with the semi-diamond style Holland checkering. The gold oval features the initials, "CA". The LOP is 14", over a sporting style pad. Gun honestly shows VERY little wear. Trigger is crisp, to the pull. A stunningly handsome Holland, as it should be.
