Certainly this little desk princess must have sat out the war in a headquarters desk. A true 99%, or dare I say even better, find. There is some very slight side plate wear and even less muzzle and sharp edge silvering. The gripstraps have not even started to gray.
There isn't a rust spot, scratch, or rub mark anywhere to be found. Possibly a pin prick two that went unnoticed. The frame is marked Eagle/ 53, Eagle/53, Eagle/Swastika. The barrel is stamped Eagle/N . The bolt Eagle/53.
All numbers match including the grips. The grip panels are almost flawless, no chips, or splits. However, there are about 5 or 6 tiny flattened points. The grip screws are unmarred. The bolt face, feed ramp and slide rails show almost no use. The mirror bright bore, like the rest of the gun, is minty. The rifling is razor sharp and crisp with no hint of frost.
It just doesn't get much better than this little "Desk Princess" as a shooter or as a showpiece......$2295.
