Description:
Browning Model 1885 High Wall chambered in the hard to find 38-55 win caliber. 28 inch octagonal barrel, Montana Vintage Arms tang sight with a Hadley type variable aperture and golbe front sight. All metal surfaces are about 98% new with maybe two or three very minor blemishes. The wood also is in about 98% new condition with only a couple of handling dings. The bore is in new condition. Overall, this is a fine example of an earlier tradtional hunter and would make an excellent target or hunting rifle.
