This Winchester M-70, 257 Roberts is set up as a factory target rifle. The bluing is about 98% and the wood is similar. There are a couple of very minor
handlin marks by the extraction side of the stock. The wood is a dark Burled type walnut with forearm having the correct Hand Checkering and is perfect.
The Butt Stock is excellent the the same Hand Checkierong w/the correct "Fish Tail". The Butt Stock wood is a fine burled type walnut sutle darker ribbing
and the butt stock is has the correct Pistol Grip with an excellent cap.
This fine firarm qualifies as a "Pre-War" wit a seriial numjber of "504XX" - 1942.
