Drop those birds with Browning 725 Citori Field Over & Under Shotguns. Low-profile steel receiver with a silver nitride finish is enhanced with accented, high-relief engraving. Glossy walnut stock with close-radius pistol grip delivers a sleek and classic look. Ventilated-rib barrel will last a lifetime and long after you've passed it down. The 725 showcases a mechanical FireLite trigger that offers unmatched feel and lighter pull weights. Many over and under shotguns boast inertia trigger systems – not the Browning 725 Citori Field. Utilizing a mechanical trigger, it's possible to pull the trigger and release a hammer with each pull, regardless of whether the first shot fires. Browning was the first manufacturer to recognize the merits of a back-bored barrel. Exploring this concept further with Vector Pro, it features a longer forcing cone than other systems. The long, gradual taper minimizes shot deformation and increases pattern uniformity, consistency and density. Back-boring increases bore diameter to its maximum specification, reducing friction between the shot cup and the barrel to propel the shot pellets to a higher velocity and reduce felt recoil. Revolutionizing choke tubes, the Invector-DS choke-tube system takes the proven thin wall, muzzle thread choke concept to the next level. The exclusive brass-alloy band at the base of the tube seals out gas and grit that sneaks between the barrel and tube, making the Invector-DS tubes easy to remove even after a long day of shooting. Thin wall construction reduces the flare at the end of the barrel for a sleeker shotgun appearance. The Invector-DS offers the most consistent, reliable tightening of any system ever. Includes Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones, three Invector-DS choke tubes (improved cylinder, modified and full) and ivory front and midbead sights. Action also features hammer ejectors and top-tang barrel selector/safety.
