SELDOM SEEN MODEL 62 LEVER ACTION RIFLE IN .256 WIN. MAG. CALIBER, ONLY MADE IN LIMITED QUANTITIES FROM 1963-1965, excellent overall with only the lightest of handling marks to wood and metal- you have to look carefully for anything to keep this from being like new, the only thing missing is the little plastic "Marlin Bullseye" round inlay in the stock just ahead of the rear sling swivel stud- Midway sells replacements for a couple bucks- mounted in Weaver type rings/rail is a 3-9X Hammers scope with exc. optics, this one should be a lot of fun to shoot- brass is simply the .357 mag. necked down to .25 caliber. I've made them by carefully running .357 brass into a full length .256 sizing die (you can, of course, by forming dies), One of the more rare post war Marlins that is rapidly going up in value.
