SCARCE 1894-1994 CENTURY LIMITED, NEW IN ORIGINAL BOX! One of the best looking fancy "Modern Marlins" is this .44-40 caliber octagon rifle with beautifully engraved case colored receiver, fancy walnut checkered stock and brass butt plate! Scroll engraved on each side of the receiver with the Marlin "Mounted Rifleman" in an oval on the right side and a deer head in an oval on the left with "Century Limited" on one side of the deer head and "1894-1994" on the other, scroll on lever and top of the receiver, true bone and charcoal case colors, fancy original Marlin style checkering with diamond in the middle on each side of the wrist and bottom of forend, 24" barrel with buckhorn and blade/bead sights, high grade rich dark color fancy walnut stock and forend, all in original box with matching serial numbered end label, one of the most beautiful of the post war Marlin lever rifles! Rarely seen or offered for sale.
