1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN RARE .32-40 CALIBER WITH SPECIAL 2/3 MAGAZINE, MADE 1896, exc. deep barrel and mag blue, original and correct carbine sights with slide intact on rear ladder, fine receiver blue that is thinning/mixing with some gray but still shows good blue coverage on the sides, fine blue on bolt and loading gate, exc. screws, exc. walnut stock and forend with tight wood to metal fit, EXCELLENT BORE, a call to the Cody Museum showed this one as a standard carbine in .30 caliber, so perhaps it was returned for a .32-40 barrel and 2/3 mag. with no notation made, certainly looks like it has always been like it is, I didn't question it when I acquired it.
