Description:
This fine European revolver was made for constabulary use in the African colonies and most likely made in Belgium or Germany., and the bore measures .38 caliber. This is a SA and DA gun with no makers name or proofs and was made for export long ago. The 4 1/8" long octagonal barrel has good rifling and a few flecks of surface corrosion but not pitted. Action is good and the this gun shows no wear but was arsenal finished long ago. This Nagant style revolver has .380Cal. marked on the side of the barrel. Butt-plate with a lanyard ring is unit marked: 108, and the very finely hand checkered French walnut show no wear.
