Description:
450 3 1/4 BPE double rifle by Charles Lancaster with his patent action and smoothbore rifling. In excellent original condition with considerable case colors and damascus pattern remaining. Few minor wood dings. Exc bores. 28" barrels, 14 1/2" LOP. A fine example of a very elegant rifle. It is possible to get good accuracy with these rifles. I know of a gentleman in Montana, a very adept regulator, who has had very good luck loading for the smooth oval bore.
