This 1st generation Colt Single Action Army revolver is chambered in .38 Special. This gun was manufactured at the turn of the 20th century (1900) and features Sandbar bone grips. Someone may have converted it from another caliber to .38 Special. The rear sight seems to have been replaced as well. The .38 special round was introduced in 1898. There is a slight possiblility that it is original but we believe it to be modified and maybe even reblued. *Please be aware that this firearm is for sale in our store as well as the occasional gun show.
