Description:
Parker VH 12 gauge SxS shotgun made in the last quarter of 1900. 30” barrels both with .035” nominal wall thickness and chokes of: .017” (modified) & .038” (full); solid rib and 2 ½” chambers and topped with a traditional Parker solid rib. The bores are mirror perfect but there is telltale, very slight “ring” in the right tube 8 ½” from the muzzle..again this is hard to see but it’s there! The #2 frame with double triggers retains about 20% original case colors and the screws are all in perfect condition. Mechanically very sound. With the forearm in place the lockup is solid, without the forearm in place there is a slight amount of “play”..normal to a 116 year old gun! Stock and forearm are original and have 80% original finishes. The capped pistol grip stock dimensions are: 14” LOP to the dogs head butt plate, 1 7/8” DAC & 3” DAH with neutral cast. Weight 8 lbs. This is a very nice example of an early VH 12 with Vulcan steel barrels.
