The 32 later evolved to become the Kreighoff model 32 then became the K80, which is in production today. Remington followed the 32 with the 3200 which incorporated some of the same features as the 32. This gun is serial number 180, it was made in the very first few months of production and it retains completely original finishes. 30” barrels with no rib have .725” bore diameters; .038” nominal wall thicknesses and choked Mod (.015”) & full (.038”). The bores are perfect except in the bottom barrel there is s slight “ring” 8” from the muzzle. The nicely figure wood has about 50% remaining varnish and has 13 7/8” LOP to the butt plate; 1 5/8” DAC & 2 ¾”DAH with neutral cast. The frame is “browning”; it has factory double triggers with automatic safety and there is still space in the take-up on the hood indicating that the gun has only seen modest use over the last 80+ years. Overall condition is about 50%. It weights 7 lbs. 14 oz. Very low number for a 32 collector. SOLD |
