Greener .577/.500 no. 2 double rifle, rebounding hammers, pinned forend, it is nicer than you think! Damascus barrels have excellent Henry rifled bores by Adams and Tate and are 25 5/8 inches long. Weight of rifle is 9 pounds 4 oz and barrels 6 pounds 9 oz. This rifle has never been refinished as best I can tell. Wood to metal fit is excellent, checkering never recut, some bruising on wood but wood is solid. Action and locks have muted case colors, not engraved except for name and address. A VERY solid original double rifle! Pull is 14 3/8 and the barrels are tight against the face. Very minor pitting on ouside of barrels at breach. Blank silver oval on bottom of stock. One standing and one flip up sight for 200 yards.Metal grip cap and metal butt plate. Checkering has not been recut and is fine, NO proud metal. One box of 20 unfired cased included. This double rifle is in very very good original condition and appears it was little used. Built about 1876.
