Goens Pure Classic Custom Built Mauser Action in 244 Remington (6mm Remington) with a lot of Engraving by Walter Kolouch; 20 1/2" half round-half octagon Bohler Antinit barrel with a full length solid integral rib with an integral front ramp & front sight, Rear folding sight, Buehler 1 piece scope base & Buehler rings, Leupold 3.5 x 10, Timney trigger, Left side wing safety, Knurled bolt knob, Non-hinged floorplate with a rear button release, American Classic style stock by Goens on a very nice piece of English Walnut with the classic Goens Fleur-de-lis wrap-around checkering pattern, Steel engraved grip cap, Ebony forend tip, Shadowline cheekpiece, Sling eyes, This piece has excellent internal inletting, 14 1/16" lop over a 1" pad, 8 lbs. 2 oz. The action, floorplate, trigger guard, barrel cylinder, muzzle area and scope base is well covered with engraving by Walter Kolouch. A lot of Gold border coverage with a Pronghorn Antelope in Gold on the floorplate. The overall blue is at 95%, the original wood finish is at 90%, the checkering is at 98% and the bore is excellent plus. This American Classic remains totally original Dale Goens and remains a very nice example of a Goens since it left his talented hands.
