Description:
This is a Pre-'64 Winchester Model 70 rifle in .30-06. The serial number dates to 1952. Metal condition is Very Good with some scratches on the floor plate and on the barrel. The bore is bright and shiny. The checkered walnut stock has been cut and a Pachmayr White Line ventilated recoil pad has been installed. Wood condition is Good to Very Good with some handling marks and finish wear apparent. The factory hooded bead front sight on a ramp is still present. The factory rear leaf sight has been removed. Present is a Redfield 1 piece scope mount with a folding rear peep sight.
