AN UNUSUAL .45-70 SHILOH/C. SHARPS FACTORY NEW HYBRID HUNTER'S RIFLE! Box and paperwork included with this one, the 2015 invoice/owners warranty card lists this one as an 1874 carbine with "customer's Shiloh barrel," So, someone had an unusual 26" round Shiloh barrel (with all the correct Shiloh markings) that they sent to C. Sharps to be made into a long barrel "Hunters Carbine" WITH DOUBLE SET TRIGGERS, brass escutcheons. All brand new and unused, has the barrel band forend with military style butt stock and C. Sharps 1874 action, Lawrence ladder rear sight, should make a great hunting Sharps, weighs approx. 8 1/2 lbs. (Standard military type carbines typically have 22" barrels and single triggers), very unusual and practical hunting Sharps.
