VERY UNUSUAL SPECIAL ORDER 1894 CARBINE, .30WCF, MADE 1919, ORDERED WITH RIFLE STYLE CRESCENT BUTT AND NO SADDLE RING, the fact it has no provision for a saddle ring shows it was a special order rifle in this regard, the color of the walnut stock and forend match nicely in color and grain as well as having very tight perfect wood to metal fit leads me to believe the stock was also special ordered along with no saddle ring, fine deep barrel and mag blue showing only the lightest of age, correct carbine sights, receiver blue flaked to a brown patina with thin blue, fine blue on the loading gate and more protected areas of the receiver, generally exc. stock and forend with light handling marks only, tight action, exc. sharp bore, unusual and attractive 1894 special carbine.
