This is Truely a Unique and Uncommon Savage Lever-Action! It is a Savage Model 1899-F Saddle Ring Carbine Rifle. This 110-yr. old Rifle is cambered for the Rare .32-40 Win. Caliber. S.N.#- 668xx Mfg.-1906 The Wood is in Very Good condition, but does have its handling marks & a few bruise's. The Bluing has scratches & thinning in spots, but is also in Very Good condition. I do believe both finishes to be mostly Original. This Timeless Savage has a Rocky Mountain Blade front sight, a (2) Two Leaf rear sight, and a rear Adjustable Tang-Peep sight. This Is a Very Appealing Vintage Carbine, in a Desireable & Rare caliber, that is still in Great shape Inside and Out for a Rifle of its age!
