Description:
Originally build for the Austro-Hungarian cavalry in 1907 the 8mm Roth-Steyr pistol was completely hand built to very exacting tolerances. There were 99,000 pistols made between 1907 and 1914 with this pistol at serial number 39795 being just before half so perhaps it was build around 1909 making is 106 years old. This pistol in in completely original condition and it is beautiful. Just a spot of surface rust here and there and a small "crush" in the left side wooden grip are the sole flaws. Mechanically perfect, all matching numbers. This Roth-Steyr is fine addition to any military collection.
