HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG. CO. XL DEFENDER .32 CF CAL. DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER CIRCA 1886. 6 shot with 3” octagon barrel. Top strap stamped “XL DOUBLE ACTION” with maker’s name and 1871 and 1886 patent dates. Early side loading gate model. Nickel plated with case hardened hammer. And hard rubber grips. Very near mint with 100% original nickel plating and case colors. Mint grips. Excellent bore and working order. Nice example and quite scarce. Companion pocket model of the full size Hopkins & Allen Army and Navy Model’s.
