This is a near mint, Dan Wesson Model 15-2V6 (6" barrel) revolver chambered for .357 Magnum/.38 Special. This is one of the most accurate revolvers ever made and is a favorite of competition shooters. The quality of this gun is on par with Colt and Smith&Wesson revolers of the same era.
15-2V models came from the factory equipped as follows:
1. Vent rib barrel
2. Adjustable rear sight with white outline
3. Brite Blue finish
4. Oversize target checkered grip
5. Interchangable colored front sight blade
Barrels for this pistol are interchangable and come in 2 1/2", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12" and 15" lengths. Used barrels are available on eBay; new barrels can be bought from CZ-USA.
This pistol is approximately 40 years old. The only signs of wear is a small scratch on the left side of the frame just forward of the hammer and some loss of the finish on the original grips due to handling.
Included is the original factory box with sleeve and wrapping paper (yes, the paper the pistol was originally wrapped in at the factory), promotional literature and price list, barrel removal tool and gap gauge. The original hang-tag is even included; this baby sold for $195.97 back in the day.
Zebrawood or Mustang factory grips are available instead of the pictured grips for an additional $150.00.
Finally, the pistol was professionally re-timed in April 2015 and I have the receipt to prove it.
