Description:
Serial #37912, .22 LR, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1930-made revolver that has retained about 85-90% of the original blue with silvering at the muzzle, as well as along the exposed edges and projections. There are some areas of fading running along the barrel, as well as a general lightening of the blue on the cylinder. The hammer and trigger retain nearly all of their original blue finish with factory bright metal along the sides of the hammer, and some mild freckling on the sides of the spur. The checkered walnut grips are in very good-fine shape with minor handling marks and some flattening of the points. The lock-up is still tight and the action functions flawlessly. This is a nice Model C Police Positive that rates very good plus-fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
