Description:
S# 215526, 38 special, 6 inch barrel, good bore with strong rifling and areas of erosion near muzzle. This revolver was built from 1909 to 1915. Originally finished in nickel, this gun was poorly renicklled a while back and now shows peeling from improper surface preparation prior to refinishing. New nickel covers about 40% with nice aged nickel below showing spots of oxidation staining. The Mother of Pearl grips are chipped at heel on both sides, left side is also chipped at frame. All markings remain crisp, barrel and cylinder are numbered to frame. Barrel bottom shows an importer stamp above cylinder rod. An interesting M+P with genuine attractive grips. FFL or C&R
