Description:
Chambered in the very desirable 44-40. A good looking revolver with some age to it. Still quite a bit of blue in protected areas with the balance having turned an antique grey color. Metal is nice and smooth. Still very nice case colors on both hammer and trigger. Hinge pin is good and sollid. Action works good. Cylinder indexes and extractor works. Everything mechanically is good on this gun. Bore would be fair to good. Smith & Wesson grips look very good with honest wear. One chip out on the left hand grip on the bottom. A nice early double action S & W.
