Description:
REDUCED!!!!!!!!!!  Austrian Carbine with strong action and very nice overall condition.  This .71 caliber hand cannon has all the little things Southern/Confederate going for it starting with a possible faint "GA" carved on the butt stock and  a name.  Looks like Ja. Skocey. A  good research project for someone. Shows honest usage and wear and is one of the better examples I
have owned in years.  Lots of carbine sling wear on the stock. Great overall smooth chocolate/Attic patina. Lots of rifling left. Overall length just at 29.5inches and barrel length of 14.5 inches. These were used by the South in the Civil War most likely Loaded with buckshot and carried mounted or as a carbine. Compare prices and it is doubtful you will find one in this condition anywhere for this price.
