Description:
This Civil War era cased French pinfire pistol appears in the 2016 book "The Civil War and thee Firearms Trade". It is a double barrel (4 3/4") ,small frame pistols that chambers two 12MM Pinfire rounds. It has a silver plated and engraved frame and butt plate and Liege proof and inspectors marks. This little pistol was likely a gentlemans carry piece and dates to the mid 1860's. It will ship in a custon solid black walnut case with solid brass knobs on 2 covered compartments, a solid brass oiler, two 12MM Pinfire rounds, and African Ebony and Solid Ivory handled screwdriver and rod. When the pistol is cocked, the trigger drops down (see pic #9). This is a really neat little piece of history.
