Description:
Browning Citori Over/Under Shotgun
GTI GOLDEN CLAYS - SUB-GAUGE SPORTING CLAYS

General Specs: Browning, Year 1993, 12 Gauge, 8lbs 8oz, O/U
Serial Number: 76207

The Browning Citori is a rock solid over/under made for birds and clays.  This gun is one of their nicer models, the GTI Golden Clays with Grade 4 style engraving, factory ported barrels, luxurious figured American Black walnut, gorgeous game scene engraving, reliable single selective trigger, and great mechanics.  This particular gun, made in 1993, has been converted to a sub-gauge sporting clays and skeet gun by Kolar Arms.  The 30" BARRELS HAVE BEEN BACK BORED TO BE USED AS CARRIER BARRELS ONLY, TO BE USED WITH THE KOLAR ULTRALIGHT TUBE SET IN ORDER TO COMPETE IN THE 20, 28, AND .410 CLASS EVENTS.   The barrels cannot be used without the tube sets, so there is no use for 12 gauge shells.  Of course, in skeet competitions, many accomplished shooters shoot the 12 gauge event with a 20ga. gun to reduce recoil fatigue, and the same can be done for sporting clays events.  This gun is in as new condition, with barely a handling mark anywhere.  Mechanically excellent in every way, no nicks or cracks in the wood, cased in an Americase that houses all of the tube sets, gun, and accessories.  The GTI Gold Sporting is a ton of gun for the money, and a very attractive, affordable way to shoot the sub-gauge events with style.  Thanks for looking.
