Description:
This is a very late take down 92 being almost 1M serial number. Looks like it was bought and then rarely used. Bbl retains 98%+ remains. Mag tube also. The take down ring an aged blue which is normally the first area to change color on these. Finish is also aged on the forearm cap and crescent buttplate. That is the nature of the beast on these late 92's. This is the late version of bluing that had the tendency of flaking. There is flaking at the front of the frame and also flaking on the bottom tang. Top of the bolt also exhibits some flaking. The rest of the finish is all there. Cal 32 WCF with a pristine bore. Exceptional Winchester 92!
