Description:
LEFEVER chambered for 2 3/4" shells, has stamped : LEFEVER ARMS, CO. on the side locks. This early model has side plate cocking indicators. The metal finish is mottled grey on the barrels with fading,and a 28" round barrels. These barrels have a very clean shiny bore, and has an chokes of a tight CYL. The frame and locks have a blue mixed with grey finish. Has hand checkered walnut stocks, and a small area of filler where the wood meets the frame underside of left side plate, and the LOP, with a brown rubber recoil pad is about 15 1/8". Front sight is a brass bead mounted on the top rib. Action works good and the SN of 42648H, with the barrels and frame matching. the forend has no numbers but works well, and could possibly be a replacement as it fits well , but has some lateral play.
