Description:
Desirable 44 WCF cal. Standard carbine configuration with 20 inch barrel, full mag and carbine butt. Gum wood stocks have been lightly sanded but are still good fitting. Original sights include carbine ladder rear and blade front. Original saddle ring. Bore has good shine with strong rifling and scattered light pits. Still very shootable condition. Barrel and mag have thinning original blue turning grey. Receiver has smooth metal with some blue in protected area around the saddle ring. Otherwise a grey patina turned silver at the carry point. Crisp action. A desirable little Winchester made in 1908.
