Description:
'86 winchester in 40-82 caliber. Sn#10024x. Antique. Has 22 inch barrel. All parts are correct (sights, buttplate) except for a newer mag tube and spring. Has a nice bore that still puts out black patches so I think it will clean up even better. Wood to metal fit is excellent. Has a typical 4"crack at the 6 o clock position on the forarm. Nearly all finish is gone with light pitting at bottom of the reciever where the rifle was carried. Some pitting spots on the left side of the reciever that looks like blood that was not cleaned off. Reciever is tight with excellent function. This is a rifle you can still hunt with and carry while it goes up in value. Affordable SRC'S are hard to come by!! I have a copy of the Cody letter and it papers correctly. 40-82 SRC.
