Harrington & Richardson "Sportsman' Cal .22, Ser L40XX.
Just like it left the factory in 1951. It has the immaculate appearance of having been hidden in a closet by an angry parent until it entered my shop.
This estate gun is pure beauty. There is no muzzle wear, no sharp edge silvering. No evidence of any use on the force cone cylinder front or recoil shield.
It is an honest 99.99% blue. Not a pit, scratch or rub mark anywhere.
The gun indexes properly and locks up exceptionally tight. The front and rear sight are adjustable for windage and elevation.
The wraparound walnut grips are almost flawless. There are a couple of tiny chips and a slight scratch or two on the bottom.
The bore, like the rest of the gun, shows no use. It is mirror bright and razor sharp.
This 9 shot "Sleeping Beauty" should be real fun at the range or campsite.
