Description:
This is for one of the earliest double action only pocket pistols, circa 1920's. It is a LeFrancais "Policeman".It is similar to the LeFrancais Poche (pocket), but has a longer barrel (3.42") and an overall ength of 6.18". Like the Poche, the Policeman is also 6.35mm. Smith (1948) refered to the LeFrancais Policeman as "a premium arm in this caliber". It is serial number 63244. Not often encountered, especially in this condition.
